Time for a break
The teenagers still have 2 more weeks of summer vacation and one of those weeks will be spent in at an adventure camp where they’ll get to white water raft, mountain bike, rock climb and zip line. Have you ever zip lined?
Steve and I zip lined in Mexico.
I’m no risk taker. Last week I left my hair straightener on for 4 hours by mistake.
I imagined burning down the entire neighbourhood and having my face in the news for ruining lives. Oprah wanting to interview me and having everyone show up on stage to tell me how I’ve destroyed their lives all for …….my irresponsible memory and wanting to get rid of frizz.
I really do stay awake at night making up stories like that.
I need a break. No cleaning. No laundry. No angry teenagers. No sweating all day long and really most importantly…..no cooking.
Of course I love cooking! but I want other people to cook for me. I want someone else to serve it to me and I really want someone else to clean up afterwards.
Just for a few days. Steve and I are going to go to a resort/hotel after we drop off the girls and just hang out. I’m taking my computer though and plan on taking lots of pictures.
But for now, here are some pictures of some veggie sushi Jojo and I made.
Much easier than you would think
Since this is was for Josee, she wanted to keep it simple. Sprouts, avocado, cucumber, a bit of soy sauce and very thinly sliced chicken.
Next time I’ll go into detail much more but you can easily google how to make sushi and have a try!
