Day 5 The Final Frontier

Ok final is a bit of an exaggeration.

I feel good!

I really do so I’m going to continue with the shakes for breakfast and lunch for now.  My jeans fit better, my energy is up and most obvious are my cravings.  Although my head wants coffee in the morning, my taste buds do not.  In the afternoon I’m not craving anything that looks, smells, sounds like or might be bread.    It’s working for me.

Today is day 5 and I promise to start sharing more recipes starting tomorrow.  Blogging kept me in check and that was my intention so forgive me if I’ve bored the crap out of you but I’ve been busy coming up with new recipes and I hope that you haven’t wandered over to the Jersey Shore blog sites or something crazy like that.

For example…..

Today after a very filling shake with 1 grapefruit, a banana, 1 cup frozen raspberries, 2 large celery sticks and the stalk, big handful of spinach, 1 cup coconut milk (recipe to come), 2 tsp Spirulina, 2 tsp glutamine, 2 tbsp psyllium, ice, water.     Blend into a shake. This made 2 servings

I did the grocery shopping and stocked up for the week.

When we lived in Edmonton there was an American restaurant called Chili’s.  This is one of many restaurants responsible for helping The United States keep the fattest country title.       Go Chili’s!

I took the girls there for lunch one day and decided that the healthiest thing on the menu was their lettuce wraps. How bad can a vegetable and chicken mixture be when it’s wrapped in lettuce?

Holy wow!  it’s bad.

I’m going to make this dish and try to get you to make it too so stop watching Snookie and The situation and please come back!
